VISUALISATION TECHNIQUE
I use visualization techniques successfully with my coaching clients when they procrastinate and do not focus on what is next in their life/careers.
Brain studies
now reveal that thoughts produce the exact mental instructions as actions. So,
the brain is getting trained for actual performance during ‘Visualizations.’ It
has been found that mental practices can enhance motivation, increase
confidence and self-efficacy, and prime your brain for success.
How to
implement the Visualization technique
ü Close
your eyes
ü Get
yourself in a positive situation you are going to be in by creating a mental
picture of it
ü Engage
as many senses as possible
ü Make
it as realistic as possible: Who is there? How do you feel? What do you smell,
hear, and feel?
ü Now,
keep replaying it over and over. Feel and experience yourself doing it
correctly repeatedly
ü Perform
this practice often. You can even perform it alongside meditation if you want.
ü Put
into action in real life and experience the success you have already visualized
Set some time
aside to use the techniques I have shared. They will provide you with
actionable insights into achieving your goals.
You can also
use other techniques like creating a Vision Board, listening to a guided
visualization meditation, Using Index cards, and Picturing and describing, to
name a few.
We can help you find your focus and purpose. Discover your strengths and achieve your goals with a personalized coaching experience.
